How to check overstay fine in UAE online

The UAE authorities recently announced that tourists visiting Dubai on a visit visa will not be given a grace period after their visas expire. Hence, it is now mandatory for them to leave the country before the specific expiration date mentioned on their visas, corresponding to their permitted length of stay.

If individuals fail to comply with this regulation, they will be subject to an overstaying fine, which must be settled before they can obtain an exit permit and leave the country.

After your visa to the UAE expires and the grace period granted to you expires, you will be required to pay the overstay penalty according to the number of days due. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day.

This also applies to visa cancellations; The UAE government will give you a grace period of six months until you leave the country or apply for another visa.

Moreover, those who have overstayed their visa will also need to obtain an exit permit from Dubai/UAE in addition to the overstaying fine. An exit permit is basically an exit permit that allows its holders to leave the UAE, which costs up to AED 300.
